Inspection

Inspection is a key element of our service which can be broken down to the following areas:

• Product Inspection
• Gauge Inspection
• Tool Inspection

Product Inspection: Components are inspected as required by the machine operator during production. Our facilities are equipped with flat tables, height gauges, verniers and an assortment of measuring equipment to support this process. We also operate a Baty Shadowmaster with a 15" Diameter Screen and x10 & x25 Magnification Lenses.

Gauge Inspection: All linear/dimensional instruments and gauges including small hand tools & , thread gauges etc are inspected by Applied Quality Assurance to National Standards with documentary evidence provided and full status colour coding applied.

Tools Inspection: All cutting tools are routinely inspected and either rebuilt or replaced as required.

Applied Quality Assurance: Our external quality assurance assessor is Applied Quality Assurance (AQA) www.aqacalibration.co.uk. One of the many objectives of AQA is detailed as:

To provide an on-site mechanical calibration service to eliminate the need for industry to operate expensive in-house facilities and avoid inconvenience caused by the need to subcontract to remote laboratories.
